We are ready to grow up!
Phoenix Primary School implements the English Primary Curriculum alongside the Italian Ministry of Education Programme, both supported by Apple Education.
This combined methodology allows some subjects to be studied in English and others in Italian.
The English Secondary Curriculum includes: English L2 (English as a second language), Mathematics, Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Earth Science), Digital Literacy and Computing, Art and Design and Music
The Italian Ministerial Programme includes: Italian, History, Geography, Physical Education and History of Religions
In addition to the curricular subjects, the programme includes a range of workshops and sport activities, which take place during the extended time: Theatre, Food Education, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Coding and Robotics, Chess and preparation for Cambridge English International Certificates. We also offer a choice of sports such as tennis, swimming, basketball, volleyball and five-a-side football.
This framework supports the development of fundamental skills such as analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and communication through learning by doing. These skills are imparted taking into account the students’ dispositions and will prepare them when facing an international context.

Choosing a bilingual education for your children will empower their future with great possibilities. In the modern globalised world, bilingual education plays a crucial role and offers distinct advantages especially for the younger generation. The Phoenix Primary educational project envisages that the curricular timetable should run in both, Italian and English on a daily basis, in accordance with the subjects taught.

Outdoors
In order to learn to respect our planet and its creatures, it is essential to establish a positive approach to Nature from an early age. Children have access to the wonderful park of the House of Peace, the sports area equipped with a multi-purpose field for outdoor physical activity, and a large area dedicated to the cultivation of fruit, vegetables and plants which will, among other things, be used to prepare their meals.

Scuola senza compiti
Our educational programme stipulates that children should be allowed to be children. They spend most of their days at school and we feel it is right not to burden them with additional homework. This approach will ensure the development of an essential skill for both school and working life: time management.
We believe that in order to foster a love of education and learning, it is necessary to create a positive relationship with school and everything that is part of it, therefore Phoenix International School is a homework-free school

The school uniform acts as a great deterrent to bullying; feeling part of the same team by celebrating belonging eliminates discrimination based on appearance and financial means. An inclusive School is committed to the needs of each child. We wish to award each learner with an outstanding education within an enjoyable, engaging and not elitist learning environment. Every year the School provides a scholarship to each class, to be allocated to a student whose family has an ISEE under €20,000.
La Regione Piemonte prevede un sostegno economico (da 950,00 a 1.400,00 euro) per l’iscrizione e la frequenza delle Scuole Primarie Paritarie alle famiglie con un ISEE uguale o minore di 26.000,00 euro. Gli importi sono maggiorati per gli alunni con Bisogni Educativi Speciali o in situazione di handicap.
